About
Zoë Cousens

I began my working life as one of the first women dealers in the London Stock Exchange in the 1980’s, and I enjoyed a long career in investment management for nearly 40 years before deciding to study for a Master’s Degree in Executive Coaching & Mentoring.

I have worked in London, Hong Kong, Dubai and the Channel Islands in a wide range of finance sector roles, and I continue to work as a consultant with wealth management clients. I have more than 10 years’ commercial and Not-For-Profit Board experience, as well as Chair and Treasury Committee experience in the UK national charity sector. I have undertaken projects for Guernsey’s Government and the Island’s Regulator, and managed a successful pension scheme.

I am an adviser for start-ups with a focus on assisting female founders with capital raising. Being a passionate advocate for financial literacy, I founded the Women’s Investment Network to inspire women to become financially knowledgeable. WIN has now expanded to offer a wide range of “Invest In Yourself” opportunities including coaching & mentoring, and events & retreats featuring important themes such as nutrition and wellbeing.

I have achieved a number of professional awards including Citywealth Powerwomen 2019 Woman of the Year – Business Services, CMO Asia GCC Women Leadership Award, the Wealthbriefing GCC Women in Wealth Management Editor’s Prize and the Women in Finance Investment Consultant of the Year.

I am a regular speaker at events such as the World Women Leaders Summit , CBRE Women in Business, Women Inspiring Leadership & Entrepreneurship Forum, and the Wealth Arabia Conference, as well as being interviewed and published in the UK and UAE media.

I am based between Guernsey and the Gulf countries, leveraging my 35+ years’ career experience to help my clients to reach their full potential and achieve their goals.
