About Zoë Cousens
The Founder of the Women’s Investment Network (“WIN”) is Zoë Cousens, an Independent Investment Consultant based in Dubai.
Zoë’s career in financial services began in 1986 as one of the first women to work in the London Stock Exchange, since which time she has worked continuously in the financial services industry.
The majority of her career was spent in Guernsey, Channel Islands as an Investment Manager for Private Client, Family and Trust portfolios for a subsidiary of a large London investment company.
Whilst based in Guernsey, she also established a Financial Planning for Women service and set up a successful pension scheme for a fiduciary company for which she continues to provide investment services.
Prior to relocating to Dubai in 2015 she was a Non-Executive Director of a wealth management company with offices in Mayfair, London and the Dubai International Finance Centre. Zoë was also appointed as an independent consultant to the Guernsey Financial Services Commission, the Island’s Regulator.
She is now the owner of Castellet Consulting FZE, an independent investment suitability assessment service based in Dubai, providing bespoke portfolio analysis to fiduciary companies and HNW individuals & families.
Zoë has also become a regular speaker, panelist & moderator at regional events such as the STEP Arabia Conference, Mompreneurs Forum, ‘Break the Ceiling’ Conference, Women Inspiring Leadership & Entrepreneurship Forum and CBRE Women in Business.
She is a Member of the UAE National Advisory Board of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment, and the first Middle East Representative for Guernsey Finance, the joint government & industry body which promotes the Island’s financial services capabilities.
Recent professional awards include the Wealthbriefing GCC Region – Women in Wealth Management Editor’s Prize and the CMO Asia GCC’s Women Leadership Award. She is also accredited as a 5*Member of the Citywealth Leaders List and has recently been shortlisted for the Citywealth Powerwomen 2019 Woman of the Year – Business Services.
Zoë has also been featured in publications such as Khaleej Times, Banker Middle East, Equity Invest In Yourself, Executive Woman and the CISI Review.
Zoë decided to launch the Women’s Investment Network in November 2017. “WIN” seeks to educate and inspire women wishing to know about financial topics and money management. Her goal is to equip women with the knowledge and confidence they need in order to successfully establish and achieve their personal financial goals.
